Father-Son Team Takes on Logistics With AI Platform: Optimal Dynamics
Warren B. Powell and his son, Daniel, have launched Optimal Dynamics, a startup that uses "sequential decision analytics" to optimize problems related to logistics, scheduling, and other areas of business. The company raised $18.4 million in funding from Bessemer, led by Mike Droesch, and now has 25 employees based in NYC. Warren is the Chief Analytics Officer, and Daniel is the CEO.
